About

Stanford Summer Session’s High School program offers academically motivated students an immersive college-credit experience at Stanford University, either residentially or as commuters. Participants enroll in undergraduate-level courses across a wide spectrum of disciplines—engineering, science, arts, social sciences—choosing from over 180 options each summer. Students join a diverse campus community including peers from more than 70 countries and benefit from full access to Stanford’s campus life, libraries, and resources. While residential housing is available, commuter options provide flexibility for local or day students. Admission is not open-enrollment; applicants must demonstrate readiness and be at least 16 years old at the program’s start. This program gives high-schoolers a genuine college environment and academic rigour at a leading research university.
