Interns work one-on-one with MIRA's research astronomers on current research problems including: star formation, gravitational lenses, earth-threatening asteroids, comets, stellar atmospheres of unusual stars, stellar flares and activity, asteroseismology of evolved stars, polarimetry of stars and planets, and astronomical instrumentation. Specific projects depend on current staff interests and intern qualifications.
