About

Harvard Summer School’s College Programs for High School Students offer high-schoolers an immersive opportunity to take actual Harvard courses while living on campus, commuting, or online. The programs include a 2-week non-credit Pre-College experience and more intensive 4- or 7-week Secondary School options for college credit. Students in the credit-bearing Secondary School Program can choose from over 200 college-credit courses in a wide range of subject areas—STEM, humanities, arts, and more—and join a global cohort of peers from numerous countries. Residential options include living in Harvard dorms with full campus access; commuting and online paths are available too. Applicants are evaluated on maturity and readiness and students must be at least 16 years old by the start of the program. For students seeking to get a taste of academic and perhaps residential life at Harvard University, this program blends rigorous coursework with a true college experience.
