The Global Entrepreneurship Experience (GEE) is a virtual, week-long intensive for high school students focused on entrepreneurial thinking and startup innovation. For the Summer 2026 session (July 20–24), the program convenes a global cohort for four hours of daily live instruction. The curriculum covers foundational concepts in design thinking, market research, and startup ideation, with a modern focus on Generative AI and digital media strategy.
Instruction is delivered by a roster of external practitioners, including founders and industry leaders, rather than traditional university faculty. While the program is hosted online and recorded for asynchronous access, it maintains a tiered participation model. Students who attend live and complete the final concept-pitch presentation are eligible for a Certificate of Distinction, providing a verifiable metric of engagement that distinguishes the experience from passive on-demand learning.
Admission is open to high school students globally, with no formal academic prerequisites. The program emphasizes professional etiquette and networking, pairing participants for collaborative project work that culminates in a final pitch. Because it functions as an independent, non-credit "masterclass" style camp, it is best suited for students seeking real-world exposure to the global startup ecosystem and practical leadership skills outside of a traditional academic grading system.
Students leave with a professional-grade pitch deck and foundational business vocabulary. By focusing on agility and resiliency—frameworks used in contemporary startup incubators—GEE provides an early exploratory gateway into global business for students who value networking and practitioner-led mentorship. However, GEE can be considered almost closer to a Coursera or MOOC option than a true precollege program, and applicants should understand it as such.
Global Entrepreneurship Experience’s schedule is structured so that all live sessions are recorded and made available on demand, enabling participants in different time zones or with scheduling conflicts to complete the program content asynchronously.
