About

Fordham University’s Pre-College Programs offer high school students a structured introduction to university life across its New York City campuses. For the 2026 cycle, students may choose between two primary tracks: the Summer Leaders Academy and the Pre-College Course Enrollment program. The Summer Leaders Academy offers one- and two-week non-credit immersions in fields like Global Finance and Pre-Law; this track is fully residential, with students living in Loyola Hall at the Rose Hill campus. Conversely, the Pre-College track allows rising seniors to enroll in regular undergraduate courses for 3 or 4 credits alongside college students; however, this specific track is strictly commuter-based, and university housing is not provided. Admission is selective, requiring a 3.0 GPA and a formal application review. This model is ideal for students seeking either a residential cohort-based experience or an authentic, for-credit classroom immersion within a Jesuit urban research university in the nation’s biggest city.
