Every summer, Apple invites a select group of high school students to its campus in the heart of Silicon Valley to live, build, and breathe innovation. For six intensive weeks, the students immerse themselves in the world of design and engineering, learning how to turn ideas into something they can hold.
For rising high school sophomores or juniors who are passionate about building things, the Apple Maker Academy is an exciting opportunity. Student makers will spend their time in a classroom setting and in labs with Apple experts, diving into hands-on sessions about ideation, fabrication, testing, and more — ultimately getting to prototype and pitch their own designs for a hardware product directly to Apple leadership.
Although not a traditional summer program, the chance to learn and work at the headquarters of one of the world's iconic tech companies is a thrilling opportunity for students eager to pursue design, engineering, and computer science in their future careers.
