Access Davidson is a selective fly-in college visit program designed to introduce high-achieving seniors from underrepresented, first-generation, and limited-resource backgrounds to Davidson College. Unlike traditional multi-week summer camps, the program is a short, fully-funded residential experience held on campus in the fall. Access Davidson emphasizes direct interaction with faculty, admission workshops, and mock interviews to help students navigate the selective admissions process. Davidson covers the full cost of transportation, meals, and lodging for participants, ensuring that geographic distance and financial constraints do not prevent talented students from exploring the liberal arts environment. While participants live in residence halls and engage in academic seminars, the program is non-credit and serves as a targeted recruitment initiative rather than a general pre-college session. Admission is selective, and though many students are identified via partner networks, students may also apply directly to be considered for this immersive introduction to "The Davidson Trust" and the college’s unique Honor Code.
