The MIT THINK Scholars Program is a national competition for U.S. high school students focusing on original science, technology, and engineering project proposals. It is open to individuals or teams and is judged on the project's potential impact and innovation. The program is free to enter, but note the strict eligibility: applicants must be full-time high school students with permanent U.S. residency during the academic year, or U.S. citizens living abroad are not eligible. Winners are awarded a $1,000 budget to help complete their proposed project, making this an excellent opportunity to secure funding for a major research effort. Students may only submit one proposal per year.
A project proposal can be completed with a $1,000 budget
