The Knowledge@Wharton High School Investment Competition is a free, international contest run by the Wharton School where teams of four to six students, guided by a teacher advisor, utilize an online stock market simulator. The competition is designed to teach strategy-building, communication, risk assessment, and company analysis. Teams learn key finance skills, including diversification and industry analysis, while developing teamwork and leadership. Beyond gaining practical experience in securities and financial markets, participation strengthens college and scholarship applications. The judging process evaluates your investment strategy, client knowledge, portfolio analysis, and the articulation of your competition experience, culminating in final reports and expert-judged presentations for global finalists.
